Avid climber and musician Scott MacInnes will be co-presenting a proffesional trombone recital with colleague and friend Marcus Hissen.
On Wednesday November 29th in the Phillip T. Young Recital Hall, at the Univeristy of Victoria, these two young trombonist will come together to play what they've dubbed: The Concerto Project.
The show will open with a duet by Canadian trombonist, conductor and composer Nicholas Francis entitled Evening News. The evening continues with concertos from light classical, romantic, and contemporary periods. Rounding it all off, the recital concludes with another duet, but this time from an American trombonist and composer Michael Davis. This jazzy duet will leave you tapping your toes.
