| Matt2258 1 post | Has anybody been up there? Looking to do an east face route a week from now. I realize it is early and probably not yet in condition, but worth asking anyhow. Wondering how much snow is still there and if someone has actually been on it if the rock is dry? Long shot I know! |
| john 95 posts | I haven't been up this year but I've climbed many of the routes. It would be dry. Its actually drys pretty fast. I've climbed there in June. I like Expressway or Culberts (east face) routes the best. Cataract is bushy for the first 400m. the best route on the whole mtn in North buttress , north tower. let my now how it works out. most of the mtn is 4th to low 5th class. but to do the route in a day you have to solo most of it. john |
