| thefoot 12 posts | Hi all. I know that this isn't officially a access issue on Vancouver Island, but enough of us climb over there that I thought I'd share some news. A good chunk of the money needed to get the TLC to purchase land at Skaha has been raised, but more needs to be done. The following link will take you to a page that allows you donate money to the cause...money that will be matched by MEC. www.conservancy.bc.ca Also, for more information, you can visit http://skahabluffs.blog.com Also, MEC just started carrying an organic cotton T-Shirt that has the donation site address on the sleeve, and some nifty silk screening elsewhere as well. $2 of the purchase of this shirt will also be donated to the cause. Not to mention the fact that you can help to get the word out. I'm poor to, so I know you're tinking what can I do?
