I will try in the next few weeks to put together a few paragraphs on the whole story of access at Horne Lake. Hopefully this will answer everyones questions.

I was there last week. There is a new sign . i don't remember exactly what it said, but it had no mention of climbing. It said no Camping, salal picking , mushroon picking.........................From Strata council.

I saw a Toyota Previa up there today with to other cars. I think there were planning on camping. the Toyota had a SAS (squamish Access society) sticker. there were not at their vehicle when we arrived. so I could not set them straight.

FYI, TimberWest has some land at Horne Lake for sale. I don't know how/if it would impact access.

have you climbed at Horne lake? None of those parcels are near the crags. It would not change trail access. the trails and crags are owned by the Horne Lake cabin owners/strata council.
