Headed to the Darkside (Nanaimo River) yesterday (April 1st) and although it was a bit cold the climbing was fun. The top of the climbs were a bit wet and there was a bit of excess moss, but nothing that could stop you from climbing. Can't wait until it warms up a bit more because my fingers were numb for the first half of the day. |
| bornfree 10 posts | I've been climbing at Mt Wells quite a bit lately. Virtually everything except la discoteque and fire wall are dry.. I went up to the Cinema on Mt Mac yesterday and it was mainly dry, a bit mungy in the back of some of the cracks.. but for the most part, worth the trip |
| mattycolbourne 2 posts | The Sunny Side (nanaimo river) is mainly dry. we've Had a few sunny warm days of climbing so far. |
| john 89 posts | Most routes at Comox Lake are dry. Like any where on the island wait a day or two after real heavy rain. Devils ladder drys pretty fast |
