DMM #2, and both metolius cams are sold. How do you like them apples Lanna?
heads up! 2/3 the way up the "nameless crack" route, Cinema right, there is a bees nest on the left side. The route is still climbable, but scope it out beforehand to see the "agitation-level" of said bees. Cheers!
Cam, have you come to the realization that all you need are quick draws? Or are you trying to raise some funds that your mom won't know about so she won't take them? How do you like that burn?? I make myself laugh.
Slimming down my rack, so I've got some cams I don't need. I am in Campbell River. DMM #.5 - 20.00 (well used) DMM #2 - 20.00 (well used) Metolius #3 - 40.00 (like new) Metolius #4 - 40.00 (like new) Wild Country #3 Tech Friend - 25.00(used) email: climbercam@gmail.com
Just a friendly reminder to be aware of loose rock above the climbs at Nanaimo’s Dark Side. We were almost hit by a large rock dislodged by a party above us. Please, if you knock down a rock shout rock loudly even if you believe no one is below you. I will be investing in a helmet after that experience.
The new Climbers' Access Society of BC site was launched today. The old site was getting outdated and was hard to maintain. With the new site members will be able to track their membership and subscribe to feeds so that they can be kept up to date with the latest access news from their area. Check it out at http://www.access-society.ca/. The site is a bit bare at the moment but will be filling up as we get time.
Islandclimbing is featured as site of the week on gripped.com this week. If you're looking for climbing news from a Canadian perspective, you should check out their site or grab their magazine.
The Squamish Mountain Festival is happening next month (July 16th - 20th). Check out their site for details and hopefully we'll see you there.
